In 1965, the Speedmaster was flight-qualified by NASA for crewed space missions. The collection later accompanied astronauts throughout the Apollo programme and became permanently connected with humanity’s exploration of the Moon.
This 42 mm stainless-steel configuration features an asymmetrical case, black step dial, three recessed chronograph counters and a black aluminium tachymeter bezel with the celebrated Dot over Ninety detail.
The domed Hesalite crystal and solid engraved case back preserve the traditional character of the professional Moonwatch, while calibre 3861 introduces Co-Axial technology and Master Chronometer performance.
